Table Mountain National Park
Table Mountain National Park is South Africa’s sparkling jewel and also a famous landmark in the Cape region.

The national park is located on the south-western tip of Africa and includes the extremely scenic mountain range of Table Mountain. The mountain range extends from Signal Hill in the north over Cape Point in the south to the coast of the Cape Peninsula. The headland with its beautiful bays, valleys and beautiful beaches is framed by the Atlantic in the west and the waters of False Bay in the east. Within the park area are the majestic Table Mountain and the famous Cape of Good Hope.

The park is internationally famous for its exceptionally rich, unique and diverse fauna and flora. The natural landscape with its cliffs, the steep slopes and many sandbanks, but also the history, the culture and the many recreational opportunities can overshadow a lot regionally and internationally. Nowhere else in the world is there an area as large as a metropolis of such beauty and biodiversity as here: the flourishing cosmopolitan metropolis of Cape Town.

The visitor has free access to the park almost everywhere. Entrance fees are only charged at the Cape of Good Hope, the Silvermine Nature Reserve and Boulders. For more information about the continent of Africa, please check ehistorylib.com.
